PRE-PORTIONED EPOXY RESIN AND HARDENER SYSTEMS POLYESTER CATALYST, ADDITIVES, AND PROMOTERS *Click on link to see more information on these items* PRE-PORTIONED EPOXY The following dual product numbers designate the resin system packaged with matching hardener in the proper ratios. The prices given are for the combined sets. GENERAL PURPOSE RESIN SYSTEM, HAPEX 1200A/1227: (Two component sets) Ratio: 2 Parts Resin to 1 Part Hardener by volume. This is a clear, medium viscosity, slow reacting system which is excellent for laminating, bonding, potting, casting and coating. It does not shrink, creates very little heat and is generally considered a safe versatile system. It is chemical resistant and heat resistant to 200oF. It has a 90 minute pot life and hardens at room temperature in 24 hours. May be made more resilient by increasing the ratio of hardener. It is 100% solids.

| CASTING AND POTTING RESIN SYSTEM: A two component system designed for thick castings.

HAPEX 1214A/1210-14 METALLIC CASTING SYSTEM: A metallic filled epoxy system that has been specially formulated by HASTINGS PLASTICS to provide good heat transfer and maintain good properties up to 325oF, making it an excellent choice for dies, masters and other tooling requirements.

STONEBOND PAVING RESIN HAPEX 1200-34A: A clear, low viscosity epoxy resin system in two component sets including the hardening agent used in a ratio of one to one by volume. This system is used for coating the stones before spreading on the surface to be paved. |

QUIKAST 1600-1B & 1600-1B WHITE URETHANE CASTING SYSTEMS: Solid cast two component urethane systems are easy to process and have a low exotherm. Both are very quick setting and make strong finished castings. Both resins have a watery thin viscosity allowing highly detailed reproductions. Very fast production rates are possible with BOTH. They work especially well in our RTV 500 Silicone Casting Rubber. QUIKAST 1600-1B: is light tan in color, has a 2 to 3 1/2 minute setting time, demolds in 15 to 20 minutes and cures in approximately 30 minutes. After curing it is easily sanded and machined and can be easily painted after priming.

It should be considered part of the resin for calculating the ratio of catalyst and/or accelerators. HAPOL 1310-10 should make up no more than 10% of the resin system. |

| EPOXY THINNER HAPEX 1200-92: A low viscosity 100% epoxy resin which can be used by itself or as a viscosity reducing additive for higher viscosity epoxy resins. It is necessary to compensate for the addition of 1200-92 by changing the curing agent ratio. The easiest way is to add the correct amount of hardener for the chosen epoxy resin, and the correct amount of hardener for the amount of 1200-92 to be used. The correct amount of hardener for 1200-92 can be determined by substituting 1200-92 for 1200A resin on the Hardener Guide Chart (TNB 3-0-4). Compute the amount of hardener required for the 1200-92 resin and add it to the hardener required for your chosen resin. |
