| *FIBERGLASS WOVEN ROVING CLOTH: A heavy-weight fabric woven from Silane treated glass roving, it is best for use where high strength and thickness are required with minimum number of layers in order to make plastics laminates at minimum cost. It is most useful for adding strength to mat laminates or gun-chopped fiber laminates bonded with polyester or epoxy resin. |

| Release fabrics are designed for use next to the cloth-lay-up when using vacuum bag, pressure bag, or contact
molding technique. Their excellent release characteristics allow for rapid removal of the bleeder and bagging
materials after completed molding cycle. The colors are used to make the glass release fabric readily distinguished
from regular laminating glass fabrics.
|
| ADVANTAGES: Minimum of cloth pattern transfer. Excellent draping and slipping characteristics for complex contours. Excellent strip-release properties. Enables production of high density laminates. Tends to reduce part rejections. Enables the use of less expensive bleeder materials. No resultant bleeding of release-finish to laminate. |

GLASS ROVING AND ROPE
|
| GLASS ROVING FOR CHOPPER GUNS: Glass Roving is continuous fiberglass strands of EGG TYPE GLASS-. The end count per roving is the actual number of strands such as 60 end, 30 end, etc... The 60 end roving is the standard and most popular style. |

| *GLASS ROPE FOR LOCAL REINFORCING (Silane Finish): These ropes are made by plying continuous filament glass yarn or roving. They have a Silane finish to give excellent wetting-compatibility with various resins such as polyester, epoxy, and silicone. Glass rope is generally used for localized reinforcing of glass cloth laminates. When the rope is impregnated with resin and cured, it becomes a very strong and rigid rib. |

| *HEAVY REINFORCING MAT: A felt type fiberglass fiber held together by a high solubility binder. It is used with polyester, epoxy, and other resins to make laminated boats and other reinforced plastic products. After impregnating the mat with resin, it softens to give the mat the ability to drape around curves and other difficult surfaces to cover. |
