HABOND EPOXY ADHESIVES

GENERAL PURPOSE ADHESIVE, Habond 14-1-1: (Two Component Sets) Mixing Ratio: 2 Parts Resin to 1 Part Hardener by volume. It has a 90 minute pot life and hardens at room temperature in 24 hours. It is medium in viscosity, clear and resilient (May be made more resilient by increasing the ratio of hardener). Heat resistant to 200⁰F, chemical resistent, non- shrinking and is 100% solids. Excellent for metal, glass, wood, ceramics, inorganics and thermosetting plastics. Not recommended for thermo-plastics. Will bond to most clean surfaces.

MEDIUM FAST ADHESIVE, Habond 14-1-1A: (Two Component Sets) Mixing Ratio: 1 Part Resin to 1 Part Hardener by volume. Same as 14-1-1 except pot life is 9-12 minutes and hardens in two hours.

FAST ADHESIVE, Habond 14-1-2A: (Two Component Sets) Mixing Ratio: 2 Parts Resin to 1 Parts Hardener by volume. High viscosity, 100% solids and non shrinking. Pot life is 7-10 minutes and will harden in two hours.

*HABOND ACRYLIC CEMENT (FAST) 14-05-1: A very fast drying, high strength, clear, water thin, non-flammable solvent type acrylic cement. It will also cement other plastics such as styrene, butyrate and polycarbonate (Lexan). Application can be made by brush, syringe, eyedropper, dipping or soaking. In some cases the cement may dry too fast for brush application. Under certain conditions the joints may appear white (blushing). If crazing is a problem we suggest you consider annealing before cementing.

It will also cement other plastics such as styrene, butyrate and polycarbonate (Lexan). Application can be made by brush, syringe, eyedropper, dipping or soaking. If crazing is a problem we suggest you consider annealing before cementing.

It can be used for cementing acrylic plastic to itself and for bonding styrene, butyrate, polycarbonate and some other plastics and porous surfaces. It is especially useful where a fast cure and high strength are desired. The initial bond forms quickly. Application can be made by brush or squeeze bottle. Widely used by the sign trade.

*HABOND GENERAL PURPOSE THERMOPLASTIC CEMENT 14-05-4: A fast drying, clear, syrupy solvent cement that can be used for cementing acrylic plastics to styrene, PVC, ABS, butyrate to each other or to themselves. Application can be made by brush or dauber. Cure time is slower than 14-05-3. Develops high strength overnight. Does not bond to metal or glass.
